Need and Future Direction

STEM: ITS THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION, AND DUPLIN COUNTY HAS IT!
Stem stands for: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Duplin County Schools is preparing our students today for the jobs of
tomorrow, many of which dont even yet exist. While we dont know what all
of those jobs are, we do know employees in STEM-related occupations
typically have higher average salaries than other workers, and we know it is
our job to ensure all of our students receive a high-quality education and are
prepared to succeed in whatever field they choose.
