INTRODUCTION
WHAT IS CLAUSE
A clause is a group of words containing a subject and a verb

INDEPENDENT CLAUSE is a complete sentence. It contains the main


subject and verb of the sentence.

DEPENDENT CLAUSE is not a complete sentence. It must be connected to
an independent clause.

A PHRASE

A NOUN PHRASE : can be used as a subject or object and a noun

A NOUN CLAUSE : Dependent clause which can be use as a subject or
object.
