CSIs support police detectives by locating, collecting, and processing
evidence.
Challenging career to withhold.
Long hours are normal, because crimes happen day and night.
The job is to be at crime scenes and find small traces of DNA or other evidence
Theres always a rush of the work that you have to do.

A CSI uses equipment such as latent print kits, casting kits,
electrostatic dust print lifters and meter testing equipment to solve
cases.
CSIs must use tools and the appropriate tools to take samples of
body fluids and DNA samples.
Besides getting their hands dirty CSIs must also process paperwork
involved in the collection of evidence and direct it to the proper place.

DEGREES AND YEARS OF STUDY
REQUIRED
To work as a crime scene investigator, one shall hold a
bachelor's degree in forensic science, forensic
anthropology or forensic biology; as the most applicable.
While relevant, a degree in forensic science isnt needed to
work as a crime scene investigator.
Having a degree just offers greater flexibility upon your
career.
