CURRENT STATUS AND
MOTIVATION
In present time due to increase in number of kidnapping
and road accident cases, parents always worry about their children.
This paper recommends a SMS based solution which assists parents
to track their children location in real time. To track the location GPS
module is used and to identify the identity of the child a RFID card is
used which is in built in the system. Whenever a child boards a bus,
the RFID tag located in his identity card will be detected by the
reader present in the bus and the system will identify the child and
will send a text message to the parents consisting the current
location and time. In this way the parents will be able to keep record
of their kids whereabouts. The paper also proposes security system
such as drunk and drive prevention system and speed control
mechanism.
OBJECTIVE
In proposed method we develop a safety system for school childrens.
RFID Tag will be fixed in the id card of a student and the signal
transmitted from which will be received in the bus unit which is an RFID
reader and it will be monitored in the server which is present in the
school unit And also message will be transmitted to their parents mobile
number through GSM.
Their position of child tracked through GPS and send to their parents
during on entering and exit of the child in bus.
Vibration sensor is for detecting the accidents of the bus if the value will
reaches maximum level alert will send to ambulance.
In case fire will created in bus. Fire exhauster will be open by Motor
EXISTING SYSTEM

h Bus finder, you can establish a series of alerts to track variances in paths, s
d time. If anything out of the ordinary happens, Bus finder will keep you infor
a electronic notificationwherever you are and whatever you are doing.

can set parameters for notifications based on a variety of driving variances

portant to your particular district. For example, you can see how far away fro
anned stop the bus actually stopped; see if it was early or late to the stop; or
alert if the travel speed exceeded 10 miles or more above the posted speed

ase bus met with an accident, first aid to the passengers are delay due to un
cations and mainly these accidents are caused by drunk and driving.
DISADVANTAGES

Location of the vehicle cannot identify

Cant avoid accidents
Drivers drive vehicles in drunken stage

Expected outcome
Avoid accidents
Easily identify the vehicle location
Drunken drivers are identified.
Accident location will identify quickly.
METHODOLOGY
As soon as the child swipes the RFID tag unique identification
number is displayed on the LCD. Now the location of the bus is traced using the
GPS module and message is sent to the parent using GSM module installed in the
bus. This will be done during both the boarding and leaving the bus.

Alcohol sensing is done by sniffer which detects alcohol in the air

or in the breath of the driver. Sniffers can detect trace amounts of alcohol in the
air. The alcohol sensor is mounted
on the drivers steering wheel. Whenever the BAC (Breathe Alcohol
Concentration) is found to be greater than 0.02 then a buzzer is sounded and
ignition is cut off so that the driver is no longer able to drive the bus.

There is also a speed control system included in the system which

senses the speed of the bus with the help of the Infrared proximity sensor
installed on the wheel of the bus. If it is found to be greater, LED is indicated that
the bus is over speeding. The system will once again check the speed of the
vehicle after some defined amount of time. If the bus is still found to be over
speeding; then a SMS would be sent to school authority informing the same and
the bus would be brought to halt by controlling the ignition system
