INTRODUCTION
Study habit are the ways that we have
formed during our school years. Good study
habit include being organized keeping note
books, Reading our text books, Listening in
class and working everyday. Bad study habits
include skipping class, Not doing your work,
Watching TV and losing your work. Study
habits is the habitual practice once use to
help them study and learn. Good study habits
can help students achieve or maintain good
grades.
COLLECTION OF DATA
For the data collection we choose 20
samples. We collected the data from the
students of Sreenarayana Higher Secondary
School,Muvattupuzha, And the class of 9.B.
Each of them evaluate the questions and
make the appropriate column. Through this
data collection, the different levels of
students are analysed. This tool is done in
the form of a survey. The rating scale is
about study habits at form and class.
METHODOLOGY
In this rating scale which deals with study habits at class
room. Always (A),Often (O), Some times (S), Rarely (R), And
Never (N) These five response are provided for each
statement.
Scoring was strictly based on scoring
Manuel. The question air contains positive and negative
statements. Form A contains 22 positive statements and 3
negative statements. Form B contains 8 positive statements
and 7 negative statements.

Analysis and interpretation of data was based on the
information collected from the students.

After analysing the 20 samples of students it is noted that
students have above study habits, normal study habit and
below study habit. Only 3 students possess above study habits.
From this analysis we can understood that this students have
no proper study habits and they should improve their study.

Conclusion:
On the basis of the findings of the study the following conclusions were drawn.
May students do not study just for the interest of study.
Lack of proper study habit.
The difference in the study habit are attributed to the fact that students do not know
how to study.

Suggestions:
Parents should always check their works at home to ensure that they study more
often than not.
Teacher should motivate students on their study because student must be motivated
before they can motivated before they can study effectively.
