O.LE.4. Read comprehensively diverse texts related to their experiences and interests, to extract general and specific information with a previously established purpose. RELATED TO KEY COMPETENCES: CLC,SIE, L2L, SCC, CAE RELATED TO UNITS: The texts to be read at class will be carefully chosen according to their level and interests. When possible we will use authentic material. For example, a postcard from a friend. O.LE.5. Learn how to use with progressive autonomy all the means available to them, including new technologies, to obtain information and to communicate in the foreign language. O.LE.6. Use efficiently the knowledge, experiences and communication strategies acquired with other languages to acquire the foreign language in a faster, more efficient and autonomous way. RELATED TO KEY COMPETENCES: CLC,SIE, L2L, SCC, DC RELATED TO UNITS: The second language learning process must be close to the process of acquisition of the mother tongue, in order to produce natural results, directly applicable to the linguistic use in the real world; on the other hand, the conscious reflection and the systematic development of varied competences that occurs when learning second languages, can be extended to the mother tongue. For example, through the use of the dictionary and strategies used in their mother when reading like scanning or contextualization. O.LE.7. Value the foreign language and all the languages in general as a means of communication among people from different origins and culture, developing a positive attitude towards the multilingual and multicultural diversity which is integrated in our Andalusian community. intonation, as well as linguistic structures and lexical aspects of the foreign language and use them as basic elements of communication.
