LOOKING AHEAD
Aluminium holds great promise in the industrial development of the
country, in view of large-scale availability of bauxite and growing
demand for aluminium.
Nalco envisages Further expansion of alumina and aluminium production
capacities
Tolling of alumina for production of metal in energy-
surplus countries and joint venture projects abroad
Setting up of export-oriented alumina refinery, based on
east coast bauxite
Manufacturing of inputs / raw materials like CP coke,
caustic soda, aluminium fluoride, coal tar pitch
Creation of production facilities for automobile
components and other value-added products
