ELA- Review
This week students were
reviewing all standards for
English.
Read and retold stories
including key details.
Identifying characters,
setting, and major events
in stories.
Sequencing story events,
beginning middle and end
Identifying the main topic
and retelling key details
Reviewed new
vocabulary, including
rainbow sight words
Discussed the author and
illustrator of a text and
defined the role of each
Reading leveled readers

facts of fiction texts.
Isolate and pronounce the initial, middle
and final sounds of (cvc) words.
Read emergent- reader texts ( take home
reading folder)
Using punctuation in writing, ( full stop.)

Goods and Services
Chapter 7-Represent, count, and write 11 to 19
Math
Working with numbers 11- 19 to gain foundations
for place value.
Count and write to 11, 12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19
Identify ways to show the numbers as ten ones and
more ones
Draw pictures to solve problems
Finished unit and will be starting Unit 8 next week
