WHAT IS TDA?

TAD refers to excessive computer use which interferes with daily life.

TAD ruins lives by causing neurological complications, psychological disturbances,


and social problems.
Use of technology may interfere with the person's social life, school work, or job-
related tasks at work. In addition, cases have been reported of persons entering
Internet chat rooms for people with serious illnesses or disorders, and pretending to
be a patient with that disorder in order to get attention or sympathy.
what extent technology addiction or Internet addiction can be considered is genuine
medical disorder is contentious. The term has been in popular use since the mid-
1990s but is still not fully recognized in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of
Mental Disorders.
CAUSES OF TAD
To chat using various social medias- meaning that many
people do not use Facebook only but they use instagram, imo
and instagram and by doing this they are addicted to
technology.
People can be addicted to technology just to take out pictures
and post it to various websites- meaning that the only thing
you see when you go on various websites are pictures in
different styles and this is one of the reason why many people
are addicted to technology.
For pleasure- many people want to use technology because
they want happiness and also they want to gossip.

Many people are addicted to technology because of fashion and


styles that technology offer- meaning that many people want to be
on social medias because they think that it is a style and it is a
fashion and also the people who are on social medias influence
others in a negative way because they cause others to use social
media in the inappropriate way.

Many people especially students are addicted to technology because


they want to indulge themselves in specific conversations with
specific friends- meaning that many people want to come on social
medias because of the conversations they want to indulge in and this
will lead them astray in the wrong way.

sit long hours and chat with different people and that will cause your back to hurt
because you will be slouching and texting.
Headaches- meaning that when you text for long hours, you will not get enough

Weight loss- again, when you text for long periods, you will not care to eat
healthy and when that happens, your body will be lack of nutrients and when that
happens you will lose weight.
Disturbances in sleep- meaning that when you text for long hours you will not
get enough sleep and when it becomes a habit, when you try to sleep you will not
sleep because your body is trained they way you train it to text for long hours.
Blurred or strained vision- meaning that when you are addicted to technology,
you will get eye strain due to the brightness of your phones or computers or
tablets.
