We are entering a new Digital Era, characterized by the consumerization of IT

resulting from an interplay of what we call the Digital Five Forces:
Mobility
Big Data Analytics
Social Media
Cloud Computing and
Artificial Intelligence
Even if you are not in the technology space, and all the jargon leaves you cold, it is
still important to take notice of the changes unleashed by the Digital Five Forces
because they have now moved beyond the narrow confines of the technology
world and are now out in the mainstream, drastically changing how we shop, how
we bank, how we book our holidays, how we work and even how we hail a cab.
At a collective level, these forces are disrupting established models and
transforming economies and societies.

Invoice creation and printing process in SOA
region often stuck due to some error in the
XML file of the invoice. This causes delay in
delivery of sales order to clients which in turn
may cause significant loss of money and
trust bondage with customers of Alcoa.

1.Automating the whole process of xml
extraction.
2. Formatiing the xml file to satisfy Brazilian
Government rules for invoices.
3.Sending the xml file to tax/tributary team
via email .
How we can help
We prepared a shell script which is scheduled
by EBS concurrent program to extract the
xml file from application server whenever
any error in invoice occurrs It also does
mandatory formatting and modifications and
sends the file to tributary team for further
verification.

The energy and resources industry is a capital-intensive domain.

Assets are often located at isolated locations, and operational
conditions are harsh. Remote monitoring helps optimize
operational expenses while upholding safety. This makes the
energy and resources industry an ideal candidate for the
implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) based technology.

For example, there can be over 30,000 sensors on an offshore oil

rig in a 5,000 mile long transportation pipeline. By connecting
factories, pipelines, and transportation network farms, the IoT can
optimize operations, and improve product performance,
utilization, and uptime. The IoT enables products to take
corrective action on their own. The convergence of visual, audio,
and sensing technology allows machine-specific expertise to be
brought into the fold at the right time remotely

IOU is E&R
- It will be a team effort. Each team can have 2 ~ 4 members
- Each team will be a mentor
Teams - Accounts where Digital Champions are already identified will be the
mentors for teams in that account
- Accounts where Digital Champions are not identified can approach Digital
SPOC of E&R Unit
Associates need to provide a simple theoretical approach. They should
necessarily focus on below points :
- Domain the customer working into (Provide information about the Domain of
Submission customer)
- Snapshot of the challenges they are aware about the customers
- What digital Technologies can be used by the customer
- A Road map how it can be implemented
- Potential Benefits
- Business benefits / Business value proposition for the customer
