One piece flow concept can be implemented at this shop

because:
1. Mass improvements can not evolve without one piece flow
2. There is less variation in the products that are made
3. Optimized layout is easy to achieve
4. Implementation of this flow can be taken as a model
5. Production targets would easily be achieved

Inspection

Inspection of one piece is done three times

Worker can be trained to inspect the part right after its made
Gauges can be developed to check different Dias of spindle
Final inspection of spindles takes place by the use of six workers
