Relates to Leadership

This case relates to leadership because as an early childhood

professional, its my job to lead and manage the classroom. As
their teacher it is my responsibility to teach them in
developmentally appropriate ways. Children learn the best
through play because they can use a hands on approach and
they are able to work out and solve problems better when they
have materials available to them to use in their own way. Plus,
through play, children can build social skills by working
together with their classmates.
Relates to Ethics

This case relates to ethics because according to the NAEYC Code of

Ethical Conduct, Our paramount responsibility is to provide care and
education in settings that are safe, healthy, nurturing, and responsive
for each child. WE are committed to supporting childrens development
and learning; respecting individual differences; and helping children
learn to live, play, and work cooperatively. By educating children
through play, we are helping them learn to be competent learners by
teaching them how to solve problems through hands on experiences in
play.
