Severance Policy
Ifin the future there is a need to lay-off workers,a
potential severance policy would be in order.
It offers two weeks of salary for every one year that an
employee has worked for the company
Employees who work under 1 year period will be
compensated with 2 weeks of salary
Any employee who has worked for the company for over 5
years will receive two weeks worth of salary for 5 yearsfor
those yearsworked at the company
Outplacement Program
An outplacement consultancy firm for the employees that
are laid off in the future is recommended
This firm will assist employees in finding new jobs during
their unemployment period.
This will lower the cost of paying for unemployment
andkeep a good reputation with the employees that we lay
off.
