System Overview
PAVIRO consists of 7 main
hardware components. The 4 most
important are:
PVA-4CR12 - PAVIRO
controller
PVA-4R24 - PAVIRO router
PVA-2P500 - PAVIRO amplifier
PVA-15CST - PAVIRO call station

System Overview
Designing a system starts with

a controller, an amplifier and a
call station.
This is the most basic installation

supporting up to 12 zones or up to
6 zones A/B wiring with a
maximum 1000 Watt loudspeaker
load in total.

It can easily be expanded with

more call stations, call station
extensions, routers and amplifiers.

Each router will add 24 zones

to the system.
A maximum of 20 routers may be

connected to 1 system adding up
to 480 Zones.
Together with the 12 zones of the

controller makes a maximum of
492 zones per system.

System Components - Controller
We will now take a closer look at

each system component
individually.
The heart of the system is the
controller PVA-4CR12. It includes
DSP and distributes 4 audio
channels simultaneously.
The controller has an internal
router which allows you to connect

System Components - Amplifier
A basic system consists of a

controller, an amplifier and a call
station.
There is 1 amplifier model
available, PVA-2P500. This is a 2 x
500 W class-D amplifier.
The output of the amplifier is either
70V or 100V.

Routers are available for larger

systems with more than 12 zones.
The router PVA-4R24 is a device
which supports 24 loudspeaker
zones. It is structured into four 2-
in-6 relay clusters.
Maximum 20 routers (480
zones)
Maximum of 492 zones in total

The system allows up to 16 call

stations
PVA-15CST to be connected to a
single PAVIRO controller

PVA-20CSE can be connected to

allows you to create your own

EOL board 2 wires have to be
connected to a PVA4CR12
controller- or PVA4R24 router

1WEOL board.
Note that this board requires a
ground connection.
The PVA-1WEOL completes the

System Configuration
Configuring a system is easily done
with the PAVIRO Configuration

Wizard configuration software.
The wizard guides you through the
system setup step by step. This
can be done off line on a PC
without any connection to the
PAVIRO system.
Once the configuration is ready it
Security Systems can be saved as an IRIS-Net
28 Project File.
The project file can be opened by
the
Controller IRIS-Net graphical user interface
software.
Connecting the controller via the
Ethernet interface allows the
controller to communicate with
a PC. Once connected, the
configuration can be uploaded
via the IRIS-Net software.
IRIS-Net not only allows easy
configuration, but it also allows

you to operate and monitor the
Advanced configuration of the

whole system is done by IRIS-Net
PC software.
It also enables the overall

configuration of the controller to be
performed off-line using a PC (i.e.
without establishing a connection
between the PC and controller).

The configuration can then be

transferred by establishing a
connection between the PC and
controller via Ethernet.

In addition to configurations, IRIS-

Net can also be used for
comprehensive checking and
monitoring of a system.
