 PRIMARY SECTOR
 The principal objective is to collect raw material
to transform it into other material useful for
people.
 This sector is divided in 4 types of work:
 The agriculture is the part where you obtain
foodstuffs with your farm. In Spain the place
with the best agriculture is Andalusia because it
has got a very good climate and its land is very
fertile.
 There are two types of agriculture depending
on the amount of water needed :
 The agriculture of unirrigated land , this type
doesn´t need any artificial irrigation . An
example is the olive, the grapevine, the cereal,
etc.

 The other type of agriculture is the irrigation
one. This type needs artificial irrigation. An
example of this type of agriculture is the rice
,the cotton, the fruit tree, etc.

 Livestock farming is the part of the primary
sector where people feed animals to obtain
products such as : milk , meat , skin . It is not
very important in Andalusia.

 There are 5 types of livestock:

Cattle (cows and bulls)
Sheep
Pigs
Equine (horses)
Goat livestock
 Fishing is obtaining a big quantity of fish for
human consume .Andalusia is the second
fishing community in our country.
 In Andalusia you can fish thun ,anchovy,ect.

 Minery industry is obtaining minerals transform

them into metal.
 Andalusia has got a very important deposit of
minerals in the Cordillera Penibética and in
Sierra Morena.
 THE SECONDARY SECTOR
 Called industrial sector. In this sector
people work to transform raw material into
useful products.
 Andalusia has got agri-industries.
 It has got metallic-industries,
chemical-industries, textile-industries ,etc.
 TERTIARY SECTOR
 Called the sevice sector . It is the most
important sector in Andalusia. In this sector
people give service to help other people. The
most important activities of this sector are:
 The tourism is the most important activity. It
gives service to people visiting this country:
There two types of tourism:
The tourism of beach.
And cultural tourism.
The trade is other activity of this sector .Is the
buy and the sale of a product.
The principal types of trade are:
The little and specialize shops.
The supermarkets.
The warehouse.
And the street market.
 The last activity is the transport. Is the
economic activity that moves a person or a
merchandise.
 There 3 types of transport:
 By land.
 By air.
 And by sea.
