A2 Media Studies

Evaluation
In what ways does your media products use ,
develop or challenge forms and conventions of
real media products?

My product would be put in the documentary drama genre. I have used, developed and challenged forms and
conventions of real media products I have also applied conventional concepts of the documentary genre, but I
have also adapted it so that it gives my audience a different insight into the documentary genre. This is so that
the audience can experience some variation within the conventions of the documentary genre. This will keep
the audience engaged at all times. During my research I watched various films belonging to the documentary
genre such as super size, legend.

After watching these documentary's I had to understand the main conventions of this genre. I also took
inspiration from certain films I watched Bully and Amy documentaries evaluating different hybrids of this
genre helped me understand the different conventions this helped me add variation to my documentary and
make it original. In these films I analysed them very well such as analysing the mise en scene, lighting , editing
, camera and sound this helped me pick out what kind of documentaries use fades, cut shots and within sound
effective music that would help the audience feel engaged within the documentary.
In what ways does your media products use ,
develop or challenge forms and conventions of
real media products?
Common codes and conventions used within documentary drama I evaluated:
There is a voiceover that is usually be authoritative in some way, encouraging the audience to think that
they either have some kind of specialist knowledge or as in the case of people like Michael Moore and
Nick Broomfield they suggest the right opinions that people should pay attention to.
Documentaries are seen as non fiction a convention of documentary is that all events presented to us
are to be seen as real by the audience.
Including natural sound and lighting this is used in Nick Broomfield's use of this in Biggie and Tupac
when they run out of sound
Interviews this is to express views within the documentary this is also used to get different views out and
send out the message
Text\Titles such as labels, dates this is a quick and easy way to convey information to the audience
In a documentary drama, this is a staged theatre which is dramatised re-enactments of actual events. This is
what i have produced through my media product and i feel i have followed the codes and conventions to be in
this category. I have included engaging stories from what i have researched which have been re-enacted to set
realism for my audience. In some aspects i have used natural sound such as tapping on the keyboard this will
allow my documentary seem more real to my audience so they can engage more.

Additionally, I done some secondary research on what colour to assign for my titles i came across a colour meaning website on
here i saw the meaning for black and white as these a juxtaposition i felt it matched the feel of my documentary as white meant
white is associated with light, goodness , innocence and purity and black meant black is associated with hidden, secretive
and the unknown. I feel these colours explain the meaning of my documentary showing innocence and purity can be
overshadowed by the unknown and secrets. I feel this relates to Millie and Amy within their stories showing that there
innocence can be taken for granted by unknown things .
In what ways does your media products use ,
develop or challenge forms and conventions of
real media products?
After extracting key forms and conventions from the documentary drama
genre. I decided that i will use some of them and also challenge them by
breaking the fourth wall. I wanted to do this because i wanted my audience to
connect with Millie and how brave it is for her to be talking about her
devastating story that should receive the acknowledgement it deserves. I want
the audience to feel sorry for Milie and feel for her as she is very brave to be
speaking about her story of online grooming and how it impacted her life.
Breaking the fourth wall creates a moment that connects directly with the
audience on a more personal level allowing them to become something
beyond a observer.

I also used Propps Narrative Theory, i used this by using stereotypical

characters within my documentary such as using a stereotypical girl who is
vulnerable and innocent who is being abused online this is very stereotypical.
Then using a stereotypical bully girls as being popular, bitchy and girly. Then
using a stereotypical man being very dominant. I think Propps Narrative has
been used within my documentary as the girl being vunerable and the man
being dominant and then overcoming this problem with the helper which are
the police , and the ending of the man being punished
In what ways does your media products use ,
develop or challenge forms and conventions of
real media products?
In my first ancillary tasks which was the film poster, I was looking at a mixture of film
posters and seeing what ones i find most effective and what draw an audience to a
poster. After doing secondary research i wanted my protagonist on the front on my poster
this is so my audience got their first impression from my film just by looking at the poster.
I also wanted to use distinctive typography which linked to my documentary and tied to
poster together. I got my inspiration from posters such as Blackfish and Supersize me
in these posters you instantly get what the poster is about by the image and the
effective writing.

Whilst developing these poster mockups, when i did my first and second poster mock up
i was using Adobe photoshop however i did my poster landscape which went against my
research which was of portrait posters. So with my landscape poster i had made i turned
it into a billboard as i felt i wanted to make my audience more aware of my documentary
and as billboards are placed in busy areas i feel this would reach my documentary out to
a wider audience. i want my documentary to get awareness as it is a very big issue within
world and want to people to stand up and stop abuse online. After changing my poster i
took new pictures of my protagonist and wanted to take these within a school on her
phone showing her looking down at her phone looking upset i felt this would be most
effective for my poster as this connotes that she feels isolated and vulnerable.

Shot Types
Furthermore in my documentary Glamourizing Abuse i add a variation of different shot types , such as i used a
establishing shot to introduce Millie and showing the location this would show the narrative to the audience and a insight
into the documentary. Also i used a lot of close ups within my documentary such to show the emotions of Millie and Immy
and the facial expressions of how they are feeling this will allow the audience to see the emotions throughout their stories.
Lastly I used a two way camera set up this was to show a conversation through a interview this makes a documentary look
more professional. These are shots that conventional to the documentary genre. All these shots presented Variety within
my documentary and made it complex and not simple.

Sound
Sound is a key part in reinforcing the emotions of my characters were feeling throughout the film. During my secondary
research i looked a different types of royalty free music that would suit the emotion of my scenes on screen. I wanted to show
the emotions through the sound. I also used diegetic sounds within the scene such as typing on the keyboard and cars
passing i felt this was effective as it shows realism within the my documentary this is also sticks to codes and conventions for
documentaries. in my documentary it realise allot on sound to set the tone of a scene this helps the audience feel for the
character and understand the upset they are going through

Mise en scene
Throughout my film, I have presented mise en scene in a professional way, such as thinking about details in every shoot, and
making sure it fits the scene and what the actor is doing to set the tone of the film and make it most effective for the viewer
when they watch my film, this will allow my film to ruin much smoother. In both my re - enactments I wanted them both to be
in a home environment as I wanted it to seem to the audience that the actors are in a safe environment, however showing
and juxtaposing this and showing the actors not being safe due to social media and the internet and showing how danger this
can be to someone even though they think they are safe at home. Also in the interview in my documentary I wanted this to be
professional, however on my second draft I rushed my interview as one of my actors couldnt make it and filmed it in a
classroom at school this did not look professional and fit in with the mise en scene it looks scruffy and did not look smooth or
fit in with the look I wanted. In my third draft I changed this filmed it in a studio at school this looked very professional as they
has the set up and equipment for me to set up a radio interview this also developed my creativity skills on setting this up. This
was a crucial part to my documentary and after fixing this my documentary looked better and to a high standard.

In my second ancillary task to make a film review, from my secondary

research i realized the purpose of a film review is to inform the audience
about the film and getting an overall opinion of the film and seeing if
they would like it. They do this whilst being entertaining and the layout of
the review help capture a potential audience. This can be done by being
eye catching pictures and text and fonts which compliment each other to
make it more pleasing for the audience. I looked at a variety of reviews
like Avatar this one had various pictures from the film within the review
this was done to make the film review more eye catching. I want used
more than one picture within my film review. Through my film review i
want my audience to get the tone of the film. Just by having the balance
of pictures and writing but not giving to much away. The film review sets
the expectations of the film and i feel i have done this within my film
review.
How Effective Is The Combination Of Your Main And
Ancillary Texts

Ancillary text 2 : Film Review

How Effective Is The Combination Of Your Main And
Ancillary Texts?

Ancillary text 1 : Film Poster

How Effective Is The Combination Of Your Main And
Ancillary Texts
Throughout creating my first ancillary task the film poster, i knew what i
wanted to create to get across to my audience that it was about a
deep subject such as bullying and abuse. i feel my poster tells the
audience about the film but not to much to let the documentary away
as well i feel my poster is meaningful and says a lot about society
today such as a young people being isolated on their phones which
can lead things such as bullying and abuse online. I wanted to use my
main character Millie on the front showing her looking down at her
phone in distress, this gives the audience an insight into the film and
shows the audience that Millie is being effected by something but not
sure what until they watch the documentary i feel this will allow the
audience to want to watch the documentary to engage with what Millie
is going through. Aswell i wanted Millie to wear a baggy jumper and
look down this connotes she feels insecure and vulnerable and i
wanted this message to be shown through my poster.
Additionally i wanted to add a catchy tagline such as Online
harassment has an offline effect as i feel this creates a dramatic
effect and also with this tagline people can relate to if they have have
been bullied online or abused online i feel that the tagline i used will
reinforce the message i am trying to project to my audience.
How Effective Is The Combination Of Your Main And
Ancillary Texts
Also for secondary research i had looked at different typography to use
within my poster which i felt would fit the tone and the picture i had taken.
After looking on different websites such as Dafont, 101 fonts i found a
selection of ones i wanted to use within my poster that i thought would
relate best to my poster. I found one called Decibel i felt this really suited
my poster as the typography looks like someone has hand written it this
may link to school and young people as i wanted this to have a
connection to my documentary about how social media affects young
people in a devastating way.
Also the meaning for my title Glamoursing Abuse i feel this title says a
lot to my audience suggesting people dont acknowledge this problem, i
wanted to show the physical and mental abuse people go through
everyday and i feel this problem of abuse is being glamorised within the
media and not being supported and stood up to, to help people who have
been through online abuse. I want my title of my documentary to give the
audience a new realization to this issue and accomplish my purpose i am
trying to get out to my audience. Furthermore within my poster i have
used a conventional layout such as having a portrait poster and also
having my main character facing the camera. I feel this will help my
audience engage with my poster more as they will be familiar with the
layout. I also wanted my main character to be facing the camera but
looking away so that the audience get their first impressions of the
character and can start to relate without even watching the documentary.
How Effective Is The Combination Of Your Main And
Ancillary Texts
Lastly, the main purpose of my poster is create awareness
about Glamourising Abuse and to make my target audience
anticipate the film. I wanted my film to appeal to everyone and
that it is available to anyone. I feel my film shows people that
abuse online cannot be ignored and it can no longer be
justified and in reality it is a crime. I feel my poster reinforces
this message and is eye catching to my target audience. After
gathering some audience feedback Robyn said This poster
really allows me to understand the importance of abuse online
and really allows me to connect with the main character
How Effective Is The Combination Of Your Main And
Ancillary Texts
Additionally, i feel that my film review is very effective and links back
to my film poster and my main task the combination of them will
engage my audience and make it more grasping. This is due to the
fact that i have utilized the key conventions of a film review through
my secondary research from different filn magazines reviews and
challeneges them. I feel my film review challenges the conventions
of most of the film reviews and challenges the conventions of most of
the film reviews i analysed as they include images that were posed
for. The images in my film review are not posed for it is a shot from
my documentary from the live action. This makes the film review
bring a sense of realism for the audience and sets the tone of the
film. I included the picture of Millie i feel this brings a sense of how
much control a computer has over people know a days that it is part
of their daily routine to go on a computer. I also used Millie one of the
main characters within the documentary but did not show her face i
feel this is more mysterious for the audience.

The picture shows that youth is adapted to new technologies,

however people are vulnerable online as they are proon to attacts
online and this can leave people with deep mental scars. Online
abuse has spread widley among youth with 42% reporting they have
been victims according to 2012 CBS news. I feel this picture really
shows the effect of social media has on the world and how it can
impact one person in so many ways.
How Effective Is The Combination Of Your Main And
Ancillary Texts
In the film reviews i had analysed most of the typography on the film
review was bold and plain this may of been because they wanted it to
stand out on the page other than be eye catching to the audience. I
wanted my typography to stand out and be appealing to the audience
so they can engage with the documentary. This is because i want the
audience to remember the name of the film and have a value to them.
I put my main image in the right hand corner this is the only image on
the review as i want it to be the main focus as i think the picture is
meaningful and connotes sense of vulnerability within young people
today and how people rely so much on social media. Additionally i
have all the generic elements to a review such as overall star rating,
age rating , casting and duration of the film. I feel that this all adds the
create a higher surface level accuracy and this provides the illusion of
a better budget. I also wanted to add quotes into to my film review to
create atmosphere and a tone to my film review to make it effective to
my audience and people may be able to relate to the quote.

At first i wanted to break conventions and have my film review portrait,

however i thought it did not look professional and a lot of the space and all
the writing and pictures looked very cramped. I also did my first draft on
publisher and felt this software wasn't giving me the high quality i wanted
within my film review. Also on my first draft i put the background in white i
felt this made the review have no tone or feel to the film review. As using
black background links to the theme of my film review such as unknown
this will allow my film review to set a tone to the audience. This reflects the
image i have also chosen on the top right corner.Overall, I think i created a
conventional film review and i think that it looked professional, however the
one disadvantage of my film review is that my film review is very bias. I feel
i lacked the negatives to my documentary and film reviews are normally
unbiased and included the positives and the negatives.
How Effective Is The Combination Of Your Main And
Ancillary Texts
In my main task I have white typography to show innocence and vulnerability. I have continued this theme
throughout my documentary and also my two ancillary tasks such as the poster and film review. I think this has
made my products look sophisticated and linked together. Also in my film review included actual shots from my
documentary, this will allow my audience to see actual scenes and see the tone of the documentary and see if
they will want to come and watch the film. This will also promote my film through my review by showing clips from
my actual film this will show distinct elements of my film though my film review. Through the use of using similar
colour scheme and adding pictures into my film review. This has used synergy allowing me to create and develop
different types of media allowing me to promote my media products to get more audience awareness this will
show greater effects on getting my products awareness. Using different types of media such as a short
documentary, poster and film review will target different people allowing people to watch my film because they
have seen what attracts and interest them on my poster and film review.
What Have You Learned From Your Audience
Feedback?
After showing the class my first drafts for Glamoursing Abuse and the first
drafts for both my ancillary tasks. I recieved some feedback on what my
strengths and weakness were at that point. The feedback on the left is from
my documentary and the right is my ancillary tasks. In my documentary my
feedback i got said that they thought my storyline was interesting and
intriguing and that i had presented a sensitive subject in a efficient way.
However my improvements were to cut out background noise such as
breathing sounds and to add music. Taking these improvements added
music and cut out background noise to make my film more professional.
Also i feel the music helped tighen everything and set the tone of the
documentary and showed the characters emotions through the use of sad
music. Furthermore for my ancillary tasks i got positive feedback about my
use of typography and how it was effective and suited the tone of my
documentary, also another positive comments was that the poster and
review looked professional and well made. However the improvemnts i got
was that my ancillary texts lacked content i improved this by adding more
content such as more detail within my film review and also adding a tagline
onto my poster i feel this will enable my audience to understand what my
documentary is about.
Overall the feedback i got for my documentary and ancillary taks was very
positive and allowed me to improve my tasks. Everyone said that the
camera angles and editing was really good and helped them understand
the message i was trying to convey. This feedback really helped me
develop my products.
What Have You Learned From Your Audience
Feedback?
I created a SurveyMonkey to gain audience feedback on my short filmand shared it across different social media
sites such as facebook. I also got various classes to fill it out of different ages to gather good target audience
research. I wanted to gather feedback of what my audience likes within documentaries and what they would like to
see. This will allow my target audience to get more enaged within my product.

In my question i asked my target audience how old they was. In this question 91% of the response was
10-20 this shows that my audience is younger this will help me decide on certain aspects of my
documentary such as how to make it appeal to a younger audience maybe by having reenacting scenes
that a younger audience can relate to this will allow my target audience to have more of a connection with
my documentary and allow them to feel a connection with the re-enactments and feel a sense of sorrow
for the actors.
What Have You Learned From Your Audience
Feedback?

In this question i asked my target audience whether they watch a lot of film
within a month. In this question 59% of people said they only watch 1-5 films
this shows that my target audience dont watch very often this helps me to
decided on my documentary and also my poster, as this shows i have to create
a poster that is eye catching for my audience. I think my poster is very gripping
and shows the audience a sneak peek of what my documentary and the tone,
and will intrigue the audience to find out the real harm social media has on
young people today.

In this question i asked my target audience whether they enjoy films 58% of
my target audience said yes and 41% said no this shows that most of my
target audience are interested in films this suggests that they will be able to
compare my documentary to other documentaries they have watched this
will motivate me to make my documentary to very high standard. I think my
documentary is a very high quality standard and i have used a lot of different
shots types and editing to make my documentary stand out from other
documentaries. I also think my audience will learn alot from my documentary
and learn the dangers they can face whilst online. I also mixed up using
codes and conventions of a documentary and my own ideas this will allow
the audience to sit and see something they might not have seen before.
What Have You Learned From Your Audience
Feedback?
In this question i asked where my target audience watches films, my target
audience said they watched films at home on TV and also on Youtube. This
would of helped me gathered where to distrubute my documentary such as
streaming it online or putting it on Youtube. i have put it on Youtube as it will
gather a wider audience to view my documentary this will encourage people to
give me feedback this will help me focus on improving my film. Such as on my
last 3 drafts people have been given me feedback on how to improve this left
me with my final draft. By getting advice this allowed me to think of other
people's views of my film and taking them into account can allow me to improve
and get a better product that people will be more intrigued in.

In this question i asked what type of genre my target audience likes the most
in this question the most popular answers were horror and documentary. This
allowed me to decided on creating a documentary as i was already very
interested in documentaries and felt by me creating a documentary would
show my passion. This also shows my target audience are interested in
documentaries which shows i have a wider audience and a range of people
will want to come see my documentary.
What Have You Learned From Your Audience
Feedback?
In this question i asked my target audience what there thoughts were on
documentaries, most of the comments that my target audience left where
that they find them really engaging and interesting this is what i want for my
audience is to make my documentary interesting so they can take away my
documentary and start standing up to online abuse as it effects alot of people
such as people get depression and anxiety. I want to show the importance of
supporting these illnesses through my documentary by making my
documentary intriguing for my audience and showing this online abuse
through a different way and not by saying but showing the audience different
scenarios and showing how the impact this can have on people's lives and
also people's family and friends to.

i asked my target audience what they find most interesting within a

documentary most of my target audience replied real footage of an event, In
my documentary i used real footage such as a interview between a radio
station and Millie the victim. This makes the documentary more real and
gives the audience a sense of realism. I feel this will allow the audience to be
more enegaed with the documentary if it feels real to them and i feel this will
allow them to feel sad and the pain the girls are going through just by
watching real footage this will be more meaningful to the audience.
What Have You Learned From Your Audience
Feedback?
In this question i asked my target audience whether they would like a
voiceover to talk the audience over what is happening within the scene.
This is also a convention within a documentary to use voiceovers so this
will make my documentary more conventional. I after looking at my target
research i know my target audience said they would prefer a voiceover i felt
that this would suit the tone of my documentary and i dont think the
audience would enagage with the actions on the screen if there was a
voiceover i feel that the documentary will be more sorrowful if there wasnt a
voiceover and the audience analysed what was going on in the scene. I
feel the music was enough for the documentary as i fel this fitted my
documentary best.

In this question i asked my audience whether they would like a woman or

a man voice over in my documentary most of them answered they do not
mind whether it is a man or a women speaking in the documentary this
leaves this decision to me. As i didnt think it was best to use a voiceover i
didn't have to decide on whether i should have a male or female
voiceover. I feel this wouldnt of fitted my documentary best as i wanted
the scenes on screen to set the tone
What Have You Learned From Your Audience
Feedback?
After finishing my final draft and viewing it to the class. I asked my
classmates if they would write down what they thought of Glamorising
abuse and what effect it has had on them. These are the two
feedbacks that stood out to me the most because in their feedback
they explained intertextual references I wanted to present in
Glamorising abuse. I was very happy with this positive feedback, and
allowed people to realise the issues that the world has today. This is
the outcome I wanted to achieve in my drama documentary. This final
feedback allowed to see if the purpose of my documentary really
showed through.
What Have You Learned From Your Audience
Feedback?

Summary of Responses
Lastly, all of the feedback i received on my documentary most of the comments were positive but however some criticized my
documentary and i will take this feedback and improve and do this on my next project so i dodnt make the mistakes i made on
Glamourising Abuse . The purpose of my documentary was to grip the attention of the audience and allow them to understand
the deep issues of today's world and how social media has become a big part of people's lives however online can be
dangerous and can have complication and that online isn't safe at all. i feel that i projected this message through the
documentary i have created and i hope it is effective and people stand up to this issue. i am pleased with all my target audience
responses and will take all of them into inconsideration and this will allow me to gain more confidence when creating another
film.
What Have You Learned From Your Audience
Feedback?

What improvements would i make?

Furthermore if i made Glamourising Abuse again i definitely would change certain aspects of my film such as the sound. The
sound in the interview has a lot of background noise although i think this is very atmospheric and set the scene of the interview, i
do think the last scene it is abit to much were you can hear people's conversations. However my actor wasn't available to re-film
this part of my film so this didn't allow me to re-shoot and try and do the scene in a quiter room without as much background
noise. I think if i would of done this it would of made my film more professional. Also my target audience stated they would of
liked to have a voiceover within my documentary but however i felt this never fitted my documentary i wanted the audience to
make their own interpretation of the documentary and have their own thoughts instead of the voiceover. Even though i went
against what my target audience wanted i think it was more beneficial. I would of done voiceover within my film it would've been
millie saying how she is feeling whilst her attack online i thought this would of been effective and this is what i would of done to
improve my documentary.
How Did You Use New Media Technologies In
The Construction And Research, Planning and
Evaluation Stage?
In the research stage of my project the interent was a massive part. After picking to create ba short film i started
researching similar documentaries i want to do, and different asspects of film i was interested in such as art of
films, film noir and crime stories. However over time my focus was my film and the analysis and planning into the
process of making it. My media blog has become huge aid in creating a effective portfolio into my A2 documentary.
Research is so important for creating a short film you have to find the codes and conventions of the genre you pick
such as i picked documentary so i adapted all my ideas around these codes and conventions and some i broke to
make my documentary more unique. The internet allowed me to up to date rearach such as google allowed me to
gain the knowledge i needed for my documentary such as the history and the effective parts of a documentary i
used include to make it more effective for my audience.

I created a survey monkey, this was a efficent way to gather target audience reseach, this website gave me a
layout of how to set my survey it gave me different layouts and how to set out different questions to get different
types of feedback such as mulitple choice or for the audience to explain why and their thoughts. This was very
beneficial as i posted it on social media and this got over 50 responses for various different people and when i
logged back into survey monkey all my results were gathered and shown in a table format. This really allowed me
to analyse my results and adapat them to my documentary.

I used social media to present and spread my work through the use of classmates, family and friends. I did this by
using Facebook, Youtube. This was share my target audience feedback online as this is using Web 2.0 . I used
Youtube to showcase my Documentary this allowed a wider audience to view my film and give me feedback.
Youtube also allowed me to show my development thorught my A2 course by uploading my drafts and show my
progess.
How Did You Use New Media Technologies In
The Construction And Research, Planning and
Evaluation Stage?
In the planning stages, i used media technologies such as premiere pro to create my anitmatic i found it simple to
create an animatic on this software as i had used it before in my AS project. I created my animatic by drawing my
storyboard by hand and taking pictures of the storyboard bit by bit and then i sent it to my email and imported it
onto premiere pro and put diegetic music on top to make it more effective and to create the atmosphere i wanted. I
think that an animatic and storyboard is very important to planning stages as helps you create what you want by
planning out scenes and describing the sound, mise en scene , camera shots and editing you want to make the
process easy for me and allow me to be time efficient. I showed my development of my planning stages on blogger
and i uploaded each frame of my storyboard onto blogger and i also uploaded my animatic this showed how i
created my final documentary.
How Did You Use New Media Technologies In
The Construction And Research, Planning and
Evaluation Stage?
Before i started A2 had basic knowledge of filming. This is because in AS we all relied on eachother on the aspects
we didnt know and i learnt skills from my peers as i never learnt myself. I had barely any skills of editing and filming,
i feel i have learnt a lot in A2 and developed my skills that i will have for life. As i have learnt to use a Cannon
camera and how to use premiere pro. Also producing my ancillary tasks i used Adobe photoshop on this software it
made my ancillary tasks look very professional, when i first created my film review i used publisher however this
made my film review basic and not look like a professional and very bare. I am very luckily to be able to use this
software and be able to work to my best of my abiltiy using technology such as cannon camera and tripod and also
software such as premiere pro and adobe photoshop really helped me produce a high quaity product.

When editing of my short film, i utilized premiere pro, as i felt this would allow me to have the best outcome and i
have a rough knowledge how to use this from AS. I found the editing very hard and took me a lot of practice such as
watching youtube videos to help me learn how to cut and add text to my documentary. I also found it very hard to
put the overlay on top of the video scene this took me a lot of practice and youtube videos. Also by adding a
transition such aa fade after my shots i found made my documentary look a lot more smoother and made all the
scenes link together. All together Premiere pro helped me put together a high quality and smooth documentary. Also
i will publish my evaluation on scribd where it will become a slideshare this is another way i have used the interent
to showcase my work.
How Did You Use New Media Technologies In
The Construction And Research, Planning and
Evaluation Stage?
I think that i have used new media technologies in all forms effectively to successfully make my own documentary
and my ancillary texts. The most work required with these new media technologies was during the construction of
my media products. Whilst creating my short film and ancillary task i used a wide range of social media and this
allowed me to get a wider audience span and collect a wide range of results. This will allow my product to get
awareness this may allow me to showcase my documentary at short film festivals this would allow me to develop
my skills and get recognition.
