A SIMPLE SENTENCE is
A sentence with one clause and MUST have
both one subject and one verb

Compound Sentence
1. A compound sentence is a sentence with
two (or more) main clauses.

2. Each main clouse must have a subject


and a verb.

3. Each pair of main clauses must be joined


with a comma and a coordinate
