UNCRC are United
nations on rights of
child.
So a law that shows
all the rights that
children have and
what is prohibited to
be done to them.
Responsibility for Prosecution

Children who break the law should not be

treated cruelly.They should not be put in prison
with adults and should be able to keep in
contact with their families.
Children who cannot be looked after by their
own family must be looked after properly, by
people who respect their religion, culture and
language.
Injury is a result of an accident

In most states child abuse laws dont have

punishments towards the incidents they had
made.
Laws arent being followed
Article 38
Governments should not allow children
under 15 to join the army.Children in war
zones should receive special protection.
Article 3
All organizations concerned with children
should work towards what is best for each
child.
What to do then? Law not Followed

If people dont know the laws in place and dont

follow them as they should be doing, then who
is to blame?
BOTH (but mainly the adults) and both should
face some sort of punishment.
Reduces probability of it happening again.
ILO- International Labor Organization
The ILO was made in 1919 during a destructive
war to pursue a vision of peace and that peace
can be obtained through social justice.

Basically the law of labor, and what is considered

labor and for what age group.
ILO-some of their standards
Minimum Age Requirements- C138
They must complete minimum amount of schooling,
15 years old
Worst Forms Of Child Labor- C132
(a) all forms of slavery or practices similar to slavery,
such as the sale and trafficking of children, debt
bondage and serfdom and forced or compulsory
labor, including forced or compulsory recruitment of
children for use in armed conflict;
Thats the jist of it...so what?
If prosecuting the adults Prosecution for the
the child should be safety of the future. Go
pardoned because its ahead with it, but make
not their fault that they it extra harsh on the
were drafted in a war. adults for their brains
are fully developed and
they should know better
by now.
Put two ideas together = ...
Both of us think that child prosecution should
happen, but that the adults should be tried
harder and with harsher penalties than the
child, especially the ones recruiting child
soldiers.
