Treatment of existing road
Notes:
The surface of excavated should not exceeding 50mm.
The tack coat which are applied to existing pavement surface before receiving further bituminous
surfacing or overplay should conform to SUB-SECTION 4.3.2 of the standard specification for road
works (JKR/SPJ/2008-S4).
The material excavated as a result of breaking up of the existing pavement surface which is to be used
in the construction of new pavement shall be broken into pieces such that the dimension of the largest
side of each piece shall not exceed 50mm.
The excavated material which is not to be used in the construction of new pavement shall be disposed
to the satisfaction of the S.O
