To make known at the region the cultivation of sacha inchi, its


nutritional properties

Promulgate the plant of sacha inchi

Improve the nutritional conditions of people, by


consuming products derived from sacha inchi

ORIGIN

The Sacha Inchi is a native plant of the Peruvian Amazon, first


described as a species in the year 1753 by the naturalist
Linnaeus here by its scientific name Plukenetia volbilis linneo.

Nowadays, also call like the peanut of the Incas, is the


natural oleaginous plant with greater conten of omega 3, a
fatty acid essential for the life of the human being

Is a climbing or vine plant, is also a fast growing plant
Morphological Characteristics

Leaf:

The leaf are alternate, heartshaped, 10to 12 cm and 8 to

Propagaci
n:
Se propaga comnmente por semilla, aunque tambin se puede
realizar la propagacin asexual o por estacas, segn ensayos
pre liminares realizados en la Estacin Experimental El Porvenir,
INIA Tarapoto.

Desinfeccin de
semilla:
Usar acefato (3-4 g/Kg. de semilla) + tiofanate metil + tiram
(3-5 g/Kg.de semilla).
