Develop a performance-and-result-oriented environment and
to encourage the personal development of employees.

Scope
The Performance Appraisal of each employee will be
conducted annually by using an MBO/objective-based
appraisal form.

Appraise Performance

Determine how effectively each employee performs his work


against the requirement of his position.

Appraise Competencies

. Appraise an employees development/ performance on


competencies or traits deemed essential for success in their
current job.

Discern Development Need

Identifying improvement and development needs is to improve


employee performance and guide him in preparing himself for a
higher position.

Identify Potential for Advancement

While appraising in their present job, an employees capacity for


advancement in terms of specific organizational level or
functional areas are assessed.
Eligibility

Appraisal Period July 1 to June 30.


Employee must be in continued service for a minimum period
of 6 months.
