Through meticulous planning, optimal coordination with fellow managers

& sub- ordinates and broadening of the spectrum of application of
experience driven mining sense, improved performance of shift drastically.
My shift stood last in terms of OB and coal production among 3 shifts in
FY16. This time around, my shift stands in top position in terms of OB
production among 3 shifts (31.97 Lakh Cum) and 2nd in Coal although
having secured 109% production rate over AOP ( 9.09 LT against target
8.33 LT)
In terms of KPIs, I facilitated shift operations optimally to secure following
parameters highest among 3 shifts :
Excavator Productivity @ 602 CuM/Hr
RD Productivity @ 161 CuM/Hr
Loading Equipment Run Hours @ 5922 Hrs
Loading Equipment Utilization @ 56.2%
Load per trip @ 82.7 Ton/Trip
High yield XI and X sub-seam recovered from Bathantand Masjid area to
the tune of 13000 tons in my shift which led to revenue generation of
about Rs 5.2 Crores
Brazing tough mining conditions in XI & V seam faulted zone, about 3000T
of coal recovered by segregating meticulously coal from OB. This resulted
in companys revenue potential getting enhanced by 0.9 Crores and 2our

Equipment damage cost reduced dramatically over FY16 to the tune of

40% in FY17 which resulted in better availability of HEMM fleet allowing
for more OB removal

Road widening and gradient optimization at Rabidas Tola and Bathantand

areas carried out aggressively to eliminate productivity loss of RD die to
skidding and lack of sufficient navigation space. This also facilitated
improvement in safety.

In Bathantand area, undertook comprehensive dressing of the face

through exhausting dozing and drain making resulting in optimal
production opportunities

Driven all-round improvement in shift by taking up 13 laser targeted SIPs

either in the capacity of leader or as a facilitating member & Completed
the same.
