"For" y "since" sirven para delimitar el tiempo de la accin del verbo.

"For" tiene el significado de durante y "since", desde.

No he estudiado durante ocho aos. I havent studied for eight years

Present perfect con already, yet y just

"For" y "since" establecen cuando se ha concluido la accin

mientras que already, just y yet establecen acciones que todava
no han acabado.

Already: ya
Just: acabar de
Yet: todava no, aun

yet solo se puede usar en negativa e interrogativa.
