other OUs.

Mimic the hierarchical structure of a business/education i
nstitution:

GROUP POLICY
A framework for controlling the user or computer enviro
nment in domains, sites and organization units.

For example, a Group Policy object (GPO) can determine

the applications available to users in a domain or OU.


GPOs can contain two types of settings:

Server Manager is a Microsoft Management Consol
e (MMC) snap-in that provides a consolidated view

DNS/DHCP
DNS naming is used in TCP/IP networks, such as th
e Internet, to locate computers and services with u
ser-friendly names.
