Write your own study notes dont use someone elses notes, or try to use the slides as notes
The act of writing down your study notes is what helps you to remember the work its actually
not so much about reading the notes afterwards
If possible, try to discuss and argue some of the more important points with friends
If you can explain the work to someone else, that means you understand it
Try to package information in a way that makes it easier to remember in the exam

SECTION A
Short questions (10 marks) Details:
All questions are compulsory
Please dont bother to rewrite the question its just a waste of your time!!!
You will have to write two short essays on a major historical event covered in this course
Your answer should provide an overview of the major players (both people and states) in the
event, as well as a detailed description of what occurred, and a brief evaluation of the outcome
of the event
Try to write about 300 words (ie. about one page) of text for each question
You will have to write a single long essay I will give you the topics in advance
Whatever topic you choose, you will have to think creatively and critically, and combine
information and ideas from different themes in this course
Remember, your answer must be a suitable response to the actual question that was asked!
