rock band in 1963 they didnt like the pop music of the
1960s. They wanted to play noisier harder rock. They
were the bad guys of rock

green Day punck music.is fast, simple rock music.
Did other groups play punk music before Green day?
Yes, they did. Punk started in england in 1976. Some
punck music was violent, but one group, the clash,
didnt violent songs. They sang about social
problems.
