Description of the project
The Earths surface is covered with 71% water which
surrounds bodies of land all throughout the world and Philippines
being an archipelago is known to be abundant with it. Our
country being on a tropic region together with rich bodies of
water becomes a great destination for tourists.
As time goes by using water is no longer limited to fishing
and it has become a diverse source of leisure activities such as
swimming and diving. The Philippines is known for its pristine
islands and world-class coast that entices foreigners with just a
mere sight
People already made their career in the field of sports
like in water polo, swimming, and boat rowing. It can be very
dangerous too because one wrong step can cause you your own
locomotor skills or even your own life.
 But aside from being a source of livelihood and a
medium in sports and career it also has some medical
benefits that we always forget because we do not focus on
this aspect more than we need to do.
The researchers chose this field of study for the
reason that they want to inform the public about the
diversity and use of water. That despite the normal activity
we do, there are still different uses of water aside from
fishing and swimming, and that there are medical benefits
that it can provide too. Also, this study aims to give
knowledge about the possible medical problems it can
cause.
 Statement of the problem
The researchers of the study aim to identify what are the
different uses of water aside from its traditional usage and the effect
of it in the community.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:
1.How may the activities in relation to water be described in terms of:
-Profession
-Sports
-Hobby
2. What medical treatment/therapy involves the use of water?
3. What health hazards/medical problems are caused by water
activities?
Objective of the problem
This documentary aims to achieve its main objective
which is to know the different uses of water aside from the
customary traditional use and its effect in the community.
1. To determine how the activities related to water be
describe in terms of profession, sports, and hobby.

2. To identify different treatments and therapies which

involves the use of water?

3. To determine the different health hazards and medical

problems caused by water activities.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY:

This study focuses on the diversity of water and its effect

in the society and how people depend on it.
Also, this study will serves as a reminder for the people
about the danger and perils that water can caused them. It will
broaden up the mind of the people who can prevent such
accidents.
This study will help the people to understand the
diversity of water and its use in the society that is not limited as a
food source, livelihood material, and other such things.
Methodology

This research will utilize different data gathering methods

such as interviews, observations, library, internet, field research,
and documentation.
