Vision:
Permeated with St. Candidas Charism, NU Nazareth School
aims to be a leading Catholic School, centered in faith in Jesus
Christ and the development of the whole person as foundations
of life.

NOTE: It must be worn during P.E. scheduled day only.
Plain white T-shirt is allowed to brought as EXTRA.
IDENTIFICATION CARD
The validated NU-NAZARETH SCHOOL identification
card forms part and parcel of the complete uniform
of the pupil/student.
Failure to wear the I.D. is a minor offense
Lost I.D. cards must be replaced and the
corresponding fees paid for.
Failure to replace lost I.D. is another minor offense.
HAIRCUT AND GROOMING

FOR BOYS
Hair must be properly groomed and trimmed. Haircut must
not go beyond the eyebrow and should not touch the collar
of your polo.
Standing and Punk hair styles are NOT allowed.
Beards, sideburns and intentional baldness and use of hair
dyes, sprays and gel are discouraged.
Earrings for boys are STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
Nails must be trimmed short.
HAIRCUT AND GROOMING

FOR GIRLS
Hair should not be combed in public places. A general
appearance of cleanliness is desirable and expected at all
times.
Punk or standing hairstyles are NOT allowed.
Hair dyes, gel or spray nets are discouraged.
Make-up such as eyeliner, lip gloss or lipstick and mascara is
NOT allowed.
Nails must be trimmed short and not polished or manicured.
ATTENDANCE
A pupil or student who incurs an absence must present a
letter of excuse from his/her parents/guardians to the
class adviser.
A doctors certificate is needed for absences due to
prolonged illness and should see the school doctor before
reporting officially in class.
A pupil or student who has been absent for more than
20% (40 absences) of the total number of school days
without valid or justifiable reasons shall be automatically
dropped.
ATTENDANCE
When a pupil or student is absent from class, he/she
is responsible for all the matters taken up during
his/her absence.

If a pupil or student has been absent during an


examination, his/her parents/guardians must come
personally to NU-NAZARETH SCHOOL and explain
the absence to the teacher and sister adviser.
ATTENDANCE
A pupil student is considered late if he/she comes to
school beyond 7:15AM (Grade 12) and 8:15AM (Grade
11) Gate will be closed at exactly 8: 00 a.m. Latecomers
will not be allowed to enter the school and will be sent
home with the proper communication to parents.

Three (3) tardy marks in the attendance record shall


mean one (1) absence. Eleven (11) unexcused tardiness
shall place the pupil or student on probation list.

ATTENDANCE
Truancy or cutting of
classes is a ground for
disciplinary action.
NOTE:
Cheating in any act that violates the
allowable conduct during quizzes,
examinations and plagiarism of academic
works (projects and research work) the
student caught will receive zero score in the
particular academic work, tampering test
result.
DISCIPLINE POLICIES
A student Disciplinary Board is hereby established
which shall exercise the power to hear and decide
cases involving serious offenses committed by
students, which warrant the imposition of the
administrative sanction of prolonged suspension,
non-readmission, exclusion or expulsion.
The Student Disciplinary Board shall be composed of the following:

c. Academic Coordinators
d. Discipline Officers
e. Guidance Counselors
f. Activity Coordinator
g. Pastoral Coordinator

The Student Disciplinary Board shall exercise its delegated disciplinary


authority over students for acts committed outside the school and
beyond school hours.

CLASSROOM AWARDS
are recognition given to the learners in each
class or section.
GRADE LEVEL AWARDS
are given to qualified learners for every grade
level at the end of the school year.
SPECIAL RECOGNITION
is given by the school to the learners who have
represented and/or won in competitions at the
district, division, regional, or international levels.
CLASSROOM AWARD
Conduct awards for grades 4
to 12 in each class will be
given at the end of the school
year.
CONDUCT AWARD
They must have obtained a
rating of at least 75%
