WALL OPENING CHANGE PIPE SIZE USING DE TOOLS

1 When to use this?


After you have done auto wall opening using the Plugin. This is to change the size
of opening made for pipes.

Please note that the automatic wall opening plugin will only cut an opening that follows the pipe size.
But, we need to change the size of the opening to have bigger clearance to fit the pipe sleeve.

It will be easier to change pipe opening diameter using DE Tool.

To do this, you need to create wall opening for all services that have pipes ACV, CWS, FPW,IRR, SYF, SAN
using the plugin.

Once plugin cutting was done, DE Tool can be used to generate list of pipes with its diameter and opening
size. From here, we can change the size of opening to match the pipe sleeve size requirements.

Now, the pipe openings size have been changed.


You can further check any Interference / Clash
between pipes and walls using Interference Check
