Application

Series 6RA70 SIMOREG DC MASTER converters are fully digital,

compact units for three-phase supply which supply the armature
and field of variable-speed DC drives with rated armature currents
of between 15A and 2200A.
The compact converters can be connected in parallel to supply
currents of up to 12000A.
The field circuit can be supplied with currents of up to 85A (current
levels depend on the armature rated current).
Other application where current regulation is needed. For example:
chemical cleaning, tinning, magnets supply, etc.

Connectors and binectors

Connectors and binectors are elements which are used to exchange
signals between individual function blocks.
Connectors can be likened to storage locations which are used to archive
"analog" signals.

Connectors and binectors

Function blocks archive the binary (digital) output information in binary
connectors, the binectors. Binectors can therefore be likened to storage
locations used for storing binary signals.
On account of their definition, binectors can only assume the two states "0"
(logically no) and "1" (logically yes).
