Geoview Due to uncertainties, the P-wave log
Well Database only rarely matches the two way
travel time on the seismic. Hence
Load Logs
needs the P-wave log to be corrected.

It is common to shoot a check shot

table by placing sensors in the bore
Elog hole and fire an air gun from the rig as
Strata shown to the right. These travel times
are converted to interval travel times
corresponding to the P-wave log, and
a drift curve is computed. This curve is
then used for interpolation.

time-depth table as check shot

constitutes the main reservoir, which is located between Top4 and Top5. The sand
