 INTRODUCTION

9/11is the name given to the attack on September 11 2009 (9/11). The
September 11 attacks were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by
the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda on the United States on the morning of
Tuesday, September 11, 2001. The attacks killed 2,996 people, injured over
6,000 others, and caused at least $10 billion in property and infrastructure
damage and $3 trillion in total costs.
 WHAT HAPPENED
On September 11, 2001, at 8:45 a.m. on a clear Tuesday morning, an
American Airlines Boeing 767 loaded with 20,000 gallons of jet fuel crashed
into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. The impact
left a gaping, burning hole near the 80th floor of the 110-story skyscraper,
instantly killing hundreds of people and trapping hundreds more in higher
floors.
As the evacuation of the tower and its twin got underway, television
cameras broadcasted live images of what initially appeared to be a freak
accident. Then, 18 minutes after the first plane hit, a second Boeing 767
United Airlines Flight 175appeared out of the sky, turned sharply toward the
World Trade Center and sliced into the south tower near the 60th floor. The
collision caused a massive explosion that showered burning debris over
surrounding buildings and the streets below. America was under attack.
As millions watched the events unfolding in New York, American Airlines
Flight 77 circled over downtown Washington, D.C., and slammed into the
west side of the Pentagon military headquarters at 9:45 a.m. Jet fuel from
the Boeing 757 caused a devastating inferno that led to the structural
collapse of a portion of the giant concrete building. All told, 125 military
personnel and civilians were killed in the Pentagon, along with all 64 people
aboard the airliner.

Meanwhile, a fourth California-bound planeUnited Flight
93was hijacked about 40 minutes after leaving Newark
International Airport in New Jersey. Because the plane
had been delayed in taking off, passengers on board
learned of events in New York and Washington via cell
phone and Airfone calls to the ground. Knowing that the
aircraft was not returning to an airport as the hijackers
claimed, a group of passengers and flight attendants
planned an insurrection. The passengers fought the four
hijackers and are suspected to have attacked the cockpit
with a fire extinguisher. The plane then flipped over and
sped toward the ground at upwards of 500 miles per
hour, crashing in a rural field in western Pennsylvania at
10:10 a.m. All 45 people aboard were killed. Its intended
target is not known, but theories include the White
House, the U.S. Capitol, the Camp David presidential
retreat in Maryland or one of several nuclear power
plants along the eastern seaboard.
 WHY THE ATTACK TOOK PLACE
Al-Qaeda took responsibility of this attack and the mastermind
behind this attack was Khalid Sheikh Mohammad and Osama
Bin laden.
Bin Laden stated that The main root of the conflict
between our civilization and your civilization is the
Palestine question. I stress that the Palestine question
is my nations central issue. It was, therefore, a key
factor that has, since my childhood, provided me and
the free 19 men with an overwhelming feeling of the
need to punish the Jews and those supporting them.
This is why the incidents of September 11th took
place
The main reason of the 9/11 attack was the Palestine, Israeli
and American issue and Bin also said that This battle is not
between al-Qaeda and the U.S., bin Laden would later
explain. This is a battle of Muslims against the global
Crusaders. This was Osama's rage against America.

9/11 was an inside job

US planned 9/11 to initiate war on Al-Qaeda
The planes had no windows and carried bombs.
The US Government knew about the attacks before they happened.
9/11 did not exist.
The most prominent conspiracy theory is that the collapse of the Twin
Towers and 7 World Trade Center were the result of a controlled
demolition rather than structural failure due to impact and fire.
Another prominent belief is that the Pentagon was hit by a missile
launched by elements from inside the U.S. government or that a
commercial airliner was allowed to do so via an effective stand-down
of the American military.

Ongoing wars
Less than a month after 9/11, U.S. troops invaded Afghanistan in an attempt to dismantle al-
Qaeda the terrorist group that claimed responsibility for the attacks and remove the
Taliban government harboring the group. Two years later, in March 2003, the United States
invaded Iraq and deposed President Saddam Hussein. Although not directly linked to the
terrorist attacks, Hussein was suspected of producing weapons of mass destruction (none were
ever found), and the invasion was a key part of Americas newly launched War on Terror, under
the leadership of President George W. Bush. Millions of Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan were
killed.
Immigration and Deportation
The Bush Administration created the Department of Homeland Security in 2002, a cabinet-level
office that merged 22 government agencies. The Immigration and Naturalization Service and
the U.S. Customs Service both formerly part of the Department of Justice were
consolidated into the newly formed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The
agency has overseen a massive increase in deportations, which have nearly doubled since 9/11.
According to the Department of Homeland Securitys Yearbook of Immigration Statistics, there
were roughly 200,000 annual deportations a year between 1999 and 2001. While that number
dropped slightly in 2002, it began to steadily climb the following year. In the first two years of
the Obama Administration (2009 2010), deportations hit a record high: nearly 400,000
annually. About half of those deported in that period were convicted of a criminal offense,
although mostly for low-level, non-violent crimes.

The Friendly-ish Skies

Before the advent of color-coded security threat warnings, pat downs
were very uncommon, liquid was allowed, and the notion of having to go
through full-body scanners was the stuff of science fiction. Prior to 9/11,
some airport security teams even allowed passengers to take box
cutters aboard (the supposed weapon used by the 9/11 hijackers). Now,
any knife with a blade up to four inches long was permitted.
Created in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, the TSA is tasked with
instituting new security procedures and managing screenings at every
commercial airport checkpoint in the country (although, private
contractors still operate at some airports). It marks the single largest
federal start up since the days of World War II. The agency is authorized
to refer to watch lists of individuals who could pose flight safety risks.
