Seeing the Future!

Jules Verne is an author from the


nineteenth century. In his books he
writes about the future. Some of his
predictions are correct and some are
not. Your task is to decide if he is right
or wrong in four of his most famous
books: A Journey to the Centre of the
Earth; From the Earth to the Moon;
Twenty Thousand Leagues under the
Sea; and Around the World in Eighty
Days.
To complete your task follow these two steps:

1. Work in teams of four. Browse the internet and


do research on the themes of Jules Vernes
novels:
A Journey to the Centre of the Earth
A Journey to the Moon
A Journey under the Sea
A Journey around the World in 80 Days

2. Then make a PowerPoint presentation with the
