I. INTRODUCTION The researchers chosen entity is using a system of inventory management to keep track of inventory transactions, accurate information about demand and lead times, realistic estimates of certain inventory-related costs and its relationship to its consumers. Thus, this study is focused on these categories and other information that is related to the subject matter on hand. Problem: This study intends to investigate the impact to the chosen entity of the researchers of having an effective and efficient Inventory Management system regarding the mentioned criteria. Objective: The objectives of this study is to, through a brief theoretical exposition, investigate and analyze the impact of having an effective and efficient Inventory Management system II. THEORETICAL BACKGROUND Inventory management is required at different locations within a facility or within multiple locations of a supply network to protect the regular and planned course of production against the random disturbance of running out of materials or goods. H1: There is a relationship between inventory management and the ability of a company to effectively and efficiently serve their customers. III. METHODOLOGY Design: The researchers utilized Methods of Analysis: The qualitative research design to information collected undergone to support the study through thorough inferential statistics conducting an interview and data analysis to arrive at a concise and analysis techniques through the theoretical interpretation of data. incorporation of the data gathered Furthermore, information from the interview. The emphasis contained as a supplement for the is put on the natural setting and research is from reliable authors and websites which are related with the point of view of the owner of the research. the entity.
Criteria: The entity must be located within Butuan City. The respondent must have the knowledge of the matter on hand. IV. RESULTS AND INTERPRETATION
Knowing that the region is bountiful when it comes to agricultural
and industrial activities, this is an indicator for the entity that the demand for the services they are offering are high. The entity always make sure that their inventory number never gets low. The entitys inventory system doesnt have a specific name but they keep track of their inventory through stock cards. The owner of the entity said that the advantage of using their companys system is that their inventory is managed well. The disadvantage on the other hand, is the slight chances of the occurrence of errors because their system is manually kept by their employees. The entity has no plans on changing its current inventory management system. The entitys owner firmly agrees that one of the factors of their consumers satisfaction is related to the availability of their product and services. The entity also sustains their relationship with their consumers by making reliable forecasts of their inventory V. SUMMARY, CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATION
Conclusion: The researchers conclude that Inventory Management is
needed in order to meet the goals of the entity in terms of its profit and to make a good relationship to its consumers.
Recommendation:
1. With different entities engaged in rendering different services
for the community, the researchers recommend to choose an entity that can give the necessary data in order for the improvement and an up to date accuracy of information of this study. 2. The researchers recommend that for those who wants to research in line with this topic, they should find similar articles or study which will help them in the overall concept and execution of their study.
