    Concentrated solar power, CSP, uses mirrors to
    concentrate the suns energy and converts it
    into heat which is used to create steam and
    drive the turbine that generates useful power.

    form of defense
    against the Roman
    empire. Roman ships
    were set on fire by
    redirecting the suns
    ray.
    1866

    to run the first

    engine.

    Built the first operational solar power plant.
    2010
    As of June 2010, there were 34 CSP plants
    installed worldwide, totalling 880.45MW. The
    country with most plants is the USA with 16
    plants installed.
