What is the authors vision of language in the textbook?

According to the authors , in the speakout book

Real world is necessary to be included in the
Classrooms. Thats why they present materials
Using real people expressing their opinion
Through videos and present activities that
Give opportunities to students to speak
Systematically and confidently and in that way
They become more effective communicators.
Each input spread has a focus on listening
or reading to reinforce the vocabulary
learnt.
Every unit of the book is divided in 4 lessons: 2 main input lessons , a functional lesson
and a DVD lesson and in each one it is a focus on speakingEmphasizing the communication
and fluency building. In the same way the gramarAnd vocabulary sections are always
followed by oral and written practice.

In lessons 3 and 4 students get involve with real world because the functional language is
Learnt in context listening to the language in use in a conversation or watching a video. In
These lessons they have a speaking activity which gives students the chance to practise
