To what extent are the common causes of absences done by the students in terms of: 2.1 Self-Inquiry, and 2.2Family Problem? STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM 3. What are the untold stories of the students pertaining to their absenteeism at school? 4. To what extent are the effects of students absenteeism in terms of: 4.1 Student Learning Performance, and 4.2 School performance? 5. Is there a significant difference between the students extent of causes of absenteeism when grouped according to their profile? STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM 6. What implications can be developed to eradicate the absenteeism of the students? SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM HYPOTHESES The following hypotheses will be tested at level of significance of 0.05. Ho1: There is no significant difference between the students extent of causes of absenteeism when grouped according to their profile. Ho2: There is no significant difference between the students extent of effects of absenteeism when grouped according to their profile. Ho3: There is no significant relationship between the students causes of absenteeism and the effects of their absenteeism. RESEARCH DESIGN Descriptive-correlation research design. Researchers will describe the students profile in terms of their gender and grade level. The causes of the absenteeism of the students in terms of self-inquiry and family problem as well as the effects of absenteeism in terms of their learning performance and school performance will also be included. Lastly, the students untold stories of the absenteeism will also be described. STATISTICAL TREATMENT Frequency and Percentage. This will help the number and ratio of students gender and grade level. This will answer the problem 1 of the study.
