manager and clarify your assumptions
and expectations about management

1. Individually, describe your Ideal Manager utilizing the Trait
Theory.
2. List FIVE desirable and FIVE undesirable characteristics of
your Ideal Manager.
3. In your RLE group, develop a group definition. Discuss your
list and reasons and draw up a common definition.
4. Present Definition using the framework:
> Common assumptions of the image of a model
manager. ( Present the model in the Instructional Supervision
conceptual model pedia)

Roles and Skills of Manager
One way to clarify your assumptions about
managers is to use images to describe your
ideal manager. Through the use of such
images, you can understand your views of the
role of managers in organizations. These
images are your personal theories of
management

Based from the roles and skills of the manager,


1. Individually, Select the image of your ideal manager
2. List down the characteristics of that image
3. Share and Clarify: In your RLE group, share your
managers image and discuss its implications for your
own management style.
4. From your group discussion, Select 2 managers
images and characteristics and its implications for the
group management style.
5. Discuss in class per group

Devise a working paradigm of the nursing
management process using the inputs of the
frameworks; your group definition of manager
and the management process
