Antonin is the first Bohemian composer to achieve


worldwide recognition. In 19th century of Romantic music.
Dvorak wrote his opera Rusalka at the age of 60 when he had
three years left to live.
Dvorak was particularly popular in Britain.
He always be found sitting and thinking about the music under a
tree in his garden.
Dvorak and his wife had nine children in total but, six survived
infancy.
Dvorak had a psychological condition that modern writers have
diagnosed as agoraphobia.

At first, Dvoraks parents encourage his musical training despite


their humble origins. So, his father enrolled him in the Prague Organ
School. Then, he started to study voice, violin, piano, and viola. After
graduation from school in 1895, Dvorak joined the Provisional Theatre
Orchestra as the head of violinist. Also, he struggled to become
recognized composer through his practice. He became friend with
composer Johannes Brahms, who influenced him and connected to his own
publisher.

I enjoyed it from the first time I listened to Symphony no.5. For
me, it started with light sound and slowly getting louder and louder.
However, this piece of music has a touch movement of sadness that
expressed his feeling on the works. Also, I like how the melody usually
passed between the woodwind and strings. When I listening to Symphony
it make me felt relax.
