BASIC OF THEORY
according to Lee (1984), Definition of mine planning Determination
of the goals and objectives of activities to be achieved.
The preparation process systematically about the activities to be
carried out.
How to accomplish goals and objectives using resources and
capabilities available efficiently and yielding.
Discussion of the issue, the possibilities and opportunities that can
occur that may affect the achievement of objectives.
The determination of the actions to be taken to achieve the
objectives based on an analysis of interest and opportunity.
Pit Limit
The design of pit limit is part of the mine planning process
relating to the problems of geometry (Arif, 1998). According
to Wright (1990) pit limit is defined as the shape and size of a
mine (open) when mining ended in total.
BASIC OF THEORY
Pushback/Mine sequence
Pushback/Mine sequence are forms of mining (mineable geometric) which
shows how a pit will be mined from the initial entry point to the final form
of the pit.
The main goal of sequence is to divide the whole volume in the pit into
planning units smaller more manageable. Thus, the problem of the mine
design highly complex three-dimensional can be simplified. The time
element can begin to be considered in this design for the mining sequence
each pushback / mine sequence is an important consideration.
BASIC OF THEORY
The steps of making Pushback / mine sequence
The first is to determine the total pit design (ultimate pit limit)
First determine the purpose of sequence pit to be created, it will basically
refer to the Stripping Ratio and production tonnage targets, a trend that is
used are referring to the uniformity of the stripping ratio / target tonnage
or changes irregularly.
Establishment of design push back. The thing to watch is the width of a
minimum working level, slope and elevation levels and the width of the
road. The width of the push back is determined by the size of the
operating unit used. For a small unit push back the minimum width is
80ft while for large units (150-200 ton truck class) wide push back
between 135-150 ft.
LOCATION AND ACCOMPLISHED REGION
Location mining of PT. Kalimantan Prima Persada
administratively located in the District of Bungur, Tapin
District, South Kalimantan.
From Palangkaraya to Banjarmasin with mileage 190 Km by road
within 4 hours using four-wheel vehicles with a paved road conditions.
Then from Banjarmasin proceed to Tapin (up in the mess Bypass KPP)
with a distance of 84 Km by road within 2.5 hours using four-wheel
vehicles with a paved road conditions.
From mess to the office of PT. Kalimantan Prima Persada with a distance
of 5 Km by road within 15 minutes drive buses with the condition of
the dirt road.

RESEARCH METHOD
In conducting research in this final project, the author combines several methods, namely
Interviews
Interviews were conducted to obtain accurate data on the mine sequence by way of question and answer
directly to the section office and parts of the field.
Observation
Observation is direct observation of how the process of planning and production in the pit x.
research Library
The study aimed to collect data that supports and is concerned with this thesis theoretical nature by reading
books, journals, and more.
Grouping of data.
Furthermore, the data obtained from interviews, observation and research literature, then grouped into
secondary data and primary data. Secondary data is data supporting researchers obtained from the
Company, agencies involved with the research. Primary data is data taken researchers in the field and
processed researchers.
Data Processing
Data processing is done by doing some calculations and drawings are then presented in the form of
graphs or circuit calculations.
Study
Conduct analysis of the data of research results to obtain a solution to the settlement of the existing
problems.
Conclusions and recommendations
As a recommendation to the company to resolve the problems in the field related to this research.
