Outline

Our main task is to create and edit a 5 minute short film of your groups chosen genre. In
order to grab the audience attention, we must implement a change of tone and mood of
the atmosphere for the audience to part of the action. This is a very crucial part of the
assignment as the audience will be able to be engrossed into the experience, as well as
adding a shock factor to the experience raising the intensity higher. Our short film must
have a clear structure( beginning, middle and ending) in order for the audience ti
interpret the idea of our film.
Tasks

Ancillary Task (to be completed in Photoshop)

Poster- The poster must represent the idea of your film genre and with that you must
display a representation of your short film, which will allow your target audience a feel of
what film narrative conveys. As well as that, the colour of the poster will be very vital as this
will help us connote our films genre. Since our film is a drama, we will incorporate dark
colours to set the mood of the poster to help represent out short film Bad Faith
Film review- The analysis should show the clear codes and conventions of my chosen
genre, whilst how the four technical aspects( Mise en scene, Cinematography, Editing
and Sound) plays a significant role in our film.
Evaluation

The evaluation should be a detail overview of what you have overcome in your
experience of filming, criticising the final product and the process overall. It should include
whether we have met our set goals and objectives throughout the whole production
process. The evaluation is very key in this particular assignment, as it develops an
understanding on how we could be even more successful in the future.
