WHY support gifted kids?
Gifted Children:
o 10-15% of children in a population are gifted
o 2% are profoundly gifted
o They have high risk of social disapproval and
rejection
o They have special needs
o They waste
o Most of the them are underachivers (50% acc. to
international research)
o Get cornered in the society
o They risk alienation and can grow to become
antisocial

And for God’s Sake, They are a Nation’s

WEALTH!!!!!

Gifted Children:
• As a society, we need to provide equal
Development opportunities for all children
• It is guaranteed “the right to a differentiated
education, to formal, non-formal and informal,
educational programs as a whole, and appropriate
development to the segment of the population
represented by young gifted, capable of high

International Recommendations
for the Center
“I heard about plans to establish a center
for gifted children and take this opportunity to
strongly support this promising endeavour, which
not only gives necessary developmental input to
the individual children, but is a big step forward to
a gifted education, dealing with differentiation in
heterogeneity, from which finally all children and
lastly the society will get profit….

- Dr Klaus Urban, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Institut für

Sonderpädagogik, past president, World Council for Gifted
and Talented – most important gifted education international
organization

An exceptional project
• A unique project to answer a high social demand for
an early childhood education of excellence
• Gifted Education is Early Quality Childhood Education
• Quality Day Care, Early, Is Tied to Achievements
as an Adult
• Early quality education can develop the
intelligence and creativity of children:
The Abecedarian project in the US proves this result
(1999). More evidence: Jeff Bezos – Amazon,
Larry Page – Google, Sergey Brin – Google credit
Montessori education for their succes (Going to a
Montessori school is where they learned to be self-
directed and self-starters. They said that Montessori
education allowed them to learn to think for
themselves and gave them freedom to pursue their
own interests)

Our Honorary Ambassadors &
What they say
Prof.univ.dr.ing.Nicolae Dragulanescu, General Secretary– Romanian Foundation for Quality Promotion
" I appreciate the project of IRSCA Gifted Education Association as more than appropriate and necessary because
it gives those interested a beneficial alternative with a triple role: selection and identification of gifted children to
enter primary school, identify the specific skills of each child and their development in the desired direction, the
promotion of concepts such as "gifted child", "quality" and "excellent" in our country. For all these potential benefits
of the project - but also for its credibility and its promoters in Romanian society – I support it and recommend it
especially suitable for financing by those individuals and companies for whom communism is a utopian
egalitarianism among others. "[ Read in Romanian full recommendation]

Dragos Nicolaescu, CEO Fujitsu Siemens Romania:

“What educates them, firsthand, is not what we tell them, but who we are”

Dorothea Fleiss, International Artist, Fine Arts teachings Lecturer, University of Applied Sciences and
Arts Calw, Germany, Lecturer, Art Academy Kendlimajor Ludwig, Hungary, Associate Professor,
University of Harbin, China, Associate Professor, University of Oradea, Romania:
“These children need our help and trust to be able to realize their dreams and through that to help us live a more
beautiful future. How poor would we be without: Mozart Baudlelaire Maria Tanase, Mircea Eliade, Aurel Vlaicu,
Train Vuia, Constantin Brancusi, Edith Piaf, Maria Callas, Channel, Simone de Beauvoir, Schopenhauer, Goethe
Rembrandt? We are ambassadors of a very important project which is, currently, in Romania, only a dream.
Help us make this dream a reality!”

Member; Former Member of Council of Agencies Serving South Asians:
“One of the world’s greatest Entrepreneur, Forbes once said, upon our children and how they are taught, rests the
fate or fortune of tomorrow’s world. Intuition and inspiration is the key to creativity that unlocks a child’s true
potential. No one has been able to tap into the soul of a gifted child that is filled with magical genius and a
treasure that is waiting to be discovered. I would like to endorse my complete support to the gifted children of
Romania[[ Read in English full recommendation ]

Ana Glavce, HR Manager, TNT Romania:

"A commendable initiative that does nothing but brings us closer to normality! Special children need special
support and investment in education is probably one of the most profitable possible ... 'If you think education is
expensive, then try ignorance "- Andy McIntyre“

dr. ing. mat. Marian STAŞ, MPA -- President, CODECS Foundation for Leadership; www.lmt.ro
“I support the project of IRSCA Gifted Education with strength and joy, as part of transforming the Romanian
educational system. I appreciate that it is particularly appropriate to be put in effect now, between 2008-2012 -
during which we expect to mark the beginning of the process of adaptive change in education in Romania.
