Pronunciation Work = 20 minutes

Your articulators (the muscles that help you make

speech) tire easily. 20 minutes a session is perfect. If
you practice more than 20 minutes without a break,
your pronunciation will get worse. Take 10-15
minute breaks between sessions.
The back of your lab card lists a menu of
resources for helping you with reading,
sentences, verbs, and other topics at your
level. Each course has a different lab card.
You must fill out
your lab card.

If you want worksheet

feedback, write your initials.
Some activities require worksheets
When you check out,
give your completed
worksheet to the CLAD
Student Worker:
1. If you want feedback,
check the worksheet
box on your lab card.
2. Or, say, No
feedback. The
CLAD Student
Worker will file your
worksheet in the

out to the hallway).
Use respectful behavior at all times.
Let us know how we can help you
succeed!
Thank you for taking this orientation!
Next semester, you can pick up a lab card
without doing this orientation. But, of course,
you can always refer back to this orientation.
Please ask questions and give us suggestions
about how we can improve CLAD.
We look forward to seeing you in
CLAD!
