Prior to decision of drilling any supply wells, the Region requires a Preliminary Investigation to be undertaken. 1- The investigation must started with Geophysical survey to demonstrate the depth of groundwater and layer productivity. 2- prepare a hydrogeological study with initial numerical model to determine the number and location of required supply wells. 3- The hydrogeological study will include two BOQ, The first BOQ for the test well and the second for all required wells. 4- The next steps will include contract documents and steps of contractor evaluation and tender awarding 5- Drilling of test well to the desired depth which was recommended from the geophysical survey and hydrogeological study 5- A- The drilling will start with a test bore hole 8 inch, 5-B- conducting an electrical well logging inside the test hole to determine the exact depth of water bearing layers at test well location, and 5-C- Enlarge the hole desired to the desired depth, then complete well installation. 5-D- Well development then conduct a pumping test (Constant and Variable to determine the exact hydraulic prosperities of bearing layers. 6- review and edit the recommendations of well numbers and spacing which was concluded in the numerical model, this step is necessary if initial assumed hydraulic properties in the model differs than actual which obtained from the pumping test.
7- Continue drilling of other supply wells and continue with analysis of the results for each well.
