AC Drive Training

LCP & MCT 10

Trainer: Stephen Tarrant

Drive Safety and Precautions
FREQUENCY CONVERTERS CAN CONTAIN DANGEROUS VOLTAGES.
NO DISSASSEMBLY SHOULD BE ATTEMPTED WITH POWER
APPLIED. REMOVE POWER TO THE FREQUENCY CONVERTER AND
WAIT AT LEAST 40 MINUTES TO ALLOW THE REQUENCY
CONVERTER CAPACITORS FULLY DISCHARGE.

ALWAYS CHECK VOLTAGE LEVELS WITH A TRUE RMS

MULTIMETER BEFORE ATTEMPTING MAINTENANCE.
CHECK ON BOTH AC AND DC VOLTAGE BETWEEN ALL
TERMINALS AND ALSO TO GROUND.
USE PROPER ELECTRO-STATIC DISCHARGE (ESD )
PROCEDURES TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO SENSITIVE
COMPONENTS.

IF A DRIVE MUST BE OPENED, PRESS AN EMERGENCY STOP

TO PREVENT DRIVES BEING RESTARTED

• Digital inputs and
output can be
readout in the 16-6X
parameters.
• Details of the
parameters can be
found in the
