What does the term demographic mean?
This word is used when we are talking about statistics into certain categories. For example
gender; which are used to create a target audience.
In demographics we look into:
• Gender
• Age
• Location
• Job
• Education

their social status, I can now
decide which consumers is
ideal for my band. For example;
Classical music would be
mostly suited for the upper
middle class, as for my band it
would not.
 PSYCHOGRAPHIC
What is psychographic?
It is used when studying personality, interests and opinions, this is then focused on an individual
or a group of people. When using psychographics, the researcher is able to use this by selecting a
group to sell to the suitable consumers.
This would include:
• Personality
• Interests
HOW DID I DO MY SURVEY?

I created two surveys, in one of them I was able to pass it around my 10 of my peers and there I
gained information from them. And the other survey was done online, using 'Survey Monkey"
where I created a survey with the same questions and used my social media account to get
people from other countries to participate in the survey to see what their opinions about the
genre.
