AMBULANCE SERVICES HMC

 Emergency Medical Services (EMS)  emergency and non

emergency transportation of patients.
 Rapid response vehicles and the Lifeflight helicopter service,
(Supreme Council of Health).
 In 2009, EMS vehicles responded to over 85,000 incidents
and the Lifeflight helicopter responded to 660 calls requiring
critical care paramedic capability, transporting 289 patients
by air.
 EMS staf f members provided 34,000 man hours of emergency
cover for 555 special events across Qatar.
 In 2013, HMC met ahead of schedule and exceeded 2016
ambulance response targets (NHS 1 .5). Almost 90% of
ambulance calls were responded to within 10 minutes, 98% in
Doha within 15 minutes, 92% outside of Doha within 15
minutes, and 99% within 20HIPGABI
