The majority of the verbs in the past are regular. However, a
small number of verbs are irregular in the SIMPLE PAST. The verbs don´t add – ed in the past they change their form. This change can be just one or two letters or it can be a completely new word.
Wear - wore Go- went Irregular verbs are only irregular in affirmative. In questions and negatives, as with regular verbs, the base form is used after did/ didn’t.
• I went to my English class last week.
• Did you go the your English class last week? • I didn’t go to my English class last week.
