Queues

 OmniFlow is a Queue based Workflow System. ie. Workitems flow from one Queue to
another in a Process.
 Queue can be defined as a shared workbench of users performing similar operations.
 Queues can also be termed as “shared in-baskets” where workitems come and sit on a
Workstep, from where users can process them.
 Internally, each Workstep represents a Queue.
 Access rights on Queues can be granted to Users/Groups.

To-Do List

 To-Do List is a list of all the operations which has to be performed on a workitem in a process.
 This is a reminder list made available to the user, regarding the work to be performed on the
Workstep.
 To-Do Items can also take input from the User, or trigger an event, etc.
 To-Do Items are defined globally in the process, and then associated with different worksteps.
 Types of To-do Items: -
 Mark: - Can take values as Yes/No/NA as input
 Pick-List: - Can take any of the pre-defined picklist items as input
 Trigger: - Can trigger an event like sending mail, Launching Applications, etc.

Document

 Document Types can be defined via the Process Modeler


 Rights of Viewing, Modifying and Scanning can be provided on top of it to individual
Queues.

Exceptions

 Exceptions are basically Error-States for workitems. Whenever a work-item has some invalid
Image or Data associated to it, or it could be some invalid condition, then an Exception can be
raised.
 Exceptions are defined globally in the process, and then associated with different Worksteps
with:

 Clear Rights
 View Rights Exception Handling in Process Client

Routing

 Decision Workstep decides on the routing criterion.


 The properties are defined based on the complex business logic.
 The values of the variables for routing are taken at the run time and these rules can
be modified according to changing business environment.

Before expiry period of completion of a contract, Contractor/Consultant should be able to send a request to PMC for
