AREA OF THE PROJECT

EMBEDDED SYSTEM
ABSTRACT
• This project is developed for the users to view the EB
Substation data in online manner.

• It consists of three separate loads, three set of current


and voltage sensors (Instead of EB substation
transformers), Microcontroller unit, PC interface etc.

• Simultaneously the user can monitor the data for all the
EB substation transformers.

• The project focuses on deployment challenges for


automated substation data analysis solutions
• The software in the PC is designed for sending the
individual current and voltage of the substation
transformer to the internet.

• The values are dynamically displayed in the screen.


• Thus the user can monitor the status of particular
substation in online manner.

INTRODUCTION
Online EB Sub Station Data Analyser consists of three system

1. Sub station system

2. Control Unit

3. Online system

 In substation system variable load and voltage and current


transformer are connected.

 Data analysing system is controlled by a control unit which


consists of a PIC 107877A microprocessor.
 The sensors send signal to the microcontroller unit
 The microcontroller analyses the signal and sends the voltage and
current of the particular transformer to the PC.

 By means of the online system all the processed data are


dynamically displayed in the user PC screen.
• The variable control parameters are voltage. Current &
power.

• Trips 33/11 or 66/11KV feeder circuit breaker as per


the schedules with auto compensation.

• Facility for remote operation through PSTN / GSM


modems

• Remote Operation of feeders and data acquisition.

• 100% Tamper proof operation in maintaining the


schedules.
